This was actual achieved schedule (I originally estimated at 5,032.9 miles). In terms of timing nothing was changed from my original plan, I was bang on time throughout. I suspected that the best laid plans would undoubtedly go wrong but the discipline the schedule provided kept me going and was key to the timely success of the journey. And I thought it was an optimistic guess.
